Huawei Launches Cloud Data Center Project
XinHua News Agency reported that Huawei established its Langfang Cloud Data Center Project in the Open Economic Zone, with a total investment of 40 billion yuan. It will be constructed as a modular data center building.
The project will take advantage of Huawei’s big data application technology and data resources, improving the competitiveness of city information management.
The first phase of this project will cost 640 million yuan and will involve the construction of three data center modules and supporting facilities.
Xiamen Xin Tianhong Ramps Manufacturing Facility
Xiamen Xin Tianhong’s announced the official opening of its new semiconductor equipment and component manufacturing facility located in Xiamen Torch High-Tech Area. The project kicked off in November 2018 with an investment of $200 million. The clean facility will be used for research and manufacture of equipment and components for physical vapor deposition, atomic layer deposition, and plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition.
Completed in only three months, the company expects to deliver its first products by the end of the month. Estimated revenue will be up to 380 million yuan, with capacity increasing gradually.
