Invengo and HTI Collaborate to set up IoT Industry Fund
On June 12, 2019, RFID technology solutions provider, Invengo Information Technology Co. Ltd., announced that it plans to collaborate with Shenzhen HTI Group to set up an IoT industry fund to perfect its layout in the IoT industry, and further improve the investment structure and the overall competitiveness of the company.
Funded in two phases, the entities are hoping to raise a total of 1billion yuan. The investment will be strategic for the emerging IoT in China.

Global First AI Chip for Smart Wearable Introduced
Huami Technology, a smart wearable innovation company, recently held a summer new products announcement meeting in Beijing, in which they introduced Huangshan No.1, an artificial intelligence (AI) chip for smart wearables. The company claims this is a global first, and also the global first wearable processor based on RISC-V open source. It integrates with RealBeats AI biological data engine.
According to Huami, Huangshan No.1’s calculation efficiency is 38% higher than ARM Cortex-M4. And atrial fibrillation efficiency of Huangshan No.1’s AI hardware engine is 200% higher compared with a pure software algorithm. Additionally, Huangshan No.1 can be used as an independent process also as a coprocessor.
Established in 2013, Huami Technology’s core products include smart bracelets, watches, and scales related to sports and health. The company shipped 275 million units in 2018. Its smart watch—AMAZFIT, is available in over 60 countries and regions such as the US, Germany, Japan, etc.
BeiDou Satellite Navigation System to Provide Global Service in 2020.
According to a CCTV report, the construction of BeiDou Satellite navigation system is going smoothly and plans to provide service globally in 2020.
BeiDou No.1 has provided service domestically in China since 2000, while Beidou No.2 has provided service for the entire Asia Pacific region since 2012. BeiDou No.3 will provide service globally in 2020. It has taken over 20 years for China BeiDou to realize these breakthroughs in satellite navigation.
