Q&A

Within Kiterocket, what are you known for?

I’m happy to find answers to all questions that come my way on any topic. They are mostly work related, but some are completely random!

What’s your proudest career moment or accomplishment to date?

My proudest moment was when our client Kari Gran told us they had been picked up by Sephora, with the retailer noting the brand was "really hot" and "all the blogs are talking about it." Rather than target national beauty magazines for our boutique skincare client, we targeted green beauty bloggers and influencers, which ultimately led to Sephora picking up the brand both in-store and online.

What is it you love about your practice area, and why did you choose to focus on this industry expertise?

I decided to focus on consumer PR, with an emphasis on the food and beverage category, because I get a kick out of cutting through the clutter of competitive brands by developing a strategic approach to catch the consumer’s attention. It also helps that I’ve always enjoyed cooking, exploring my city for the newest hot spot and finding an amazing product to share with friends and family.

How would your colleagues describe you in three words?

Dependable. Organized. Hip.

What inspires you to get up every morning?

Mentoring my team and watching them grow and mature within their PR careers is an inspiration. I also enjoy seeing how our hard work and dedication pays off for the client in a myriad of measurable ways.
