Seeking: Digital Marketing Manager

Kiterocket, a PR-forward communications agency for high-growth companies in the semiconductor and microelectronic, renewable energy and climate tech, future of food and emerging tech industries, is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager with a focus in email marketing to join our team in Seattle on a hybrid schedule. At this time, we are considering part-time candidates (or contract) —with the potential for a full-time hire.

Your main mission is to bring your digital marketing acumen to our client and agency work, up-leveling our deliverables – from email marketing strategy and the associated results to eblasts and paid ads.

THE MUST LIST:

  • Typically, 3+ years of digital marketing experience, with a focus in email marketing and paid ads; agency experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, marketing, communications or related field
  • Platform/tools/software experience with the following, or similar: marketing automation/email marketing platforms (HubSpot, SharpSpring/Constant Contact, MailChimp, Klaviyo); advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager); marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, LookerStudio)
  • Critical skill set: intermediate to advanced knowledge of email marketing strategy and execution, content marketing, inbound marketing and online lead generation; digital advertising and budget management; marketing writing; reporting and analytics; professional communication skills and strong ability to multitask

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Create digital marketing strategies, including lead generation campaigns, email marketing, paid online ads, content marketing and digital analytics related to those services; help draft digital marketing sections of integrated campaign plans, including targets, tactics, metrics, budgets and timing; create decks to present to clients
  • Develop comprehensive strategies and user flows for multi-faceted lead generation campaigns that include CTA ads, landing page conversions and automated email workflows
  • Strategize and produce lead generation, email workflows and email marketing campaigns from start to finish, including drafting campaign content, email programming and design, setting up distribution, monitoring/optimizing and tracking results; ensuring quality control and a sound technical setup. This includes setting up lead scoring criteria, creating personalized email sequences, and implementing triggers based on user behavior to deliver timely and relevant content.
  • Understand and follow all privacy requirements for GDPR, CCPA, VCDPA, CPA and CPRA etc.; create opt-in workflows following best practices
  • Set up and execute one-off eblasts and workflows along with landing pages
  • Maintain and optimize CRM database within email marketing platform, ensuring accurate and up-to-date contact information, importing and segmenting newly obtained lists (from trade shows, events etc.) and tracking interactions with leads and customers
  • Drive strategy and creative direction for search and display advertising (i.e. Google Ads), campaign conversion tracking, budgets and placement targeting; create decks to present to clients
  • Work on paid social media strategies and creative direction or contribute to paid social media campaigns in larger, integrated campaign plans; create decks/plans to share with clients
  • Execute all digital advertising campaigns including Google Ads (search and display), social and inbound marketing
  • Provide monthly, quarterly or campaign recaps to Account Teams, including strategic performance insights and actionable recommendations to clients based on analytics
  • Clearly demonstrate the digital marketing initiatives you help strategize are advancing client KPIs and leading to desired client outcomes
  • Help secure new business by contributing digital marketing strategy to proposals and participating in new business pitches

The anticipated salary range for this PT position is $32,500-$37,500 ($31-36 an hour). Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
