At Kiterocket, we are a purpose-driven company committed to harnessing the power of communication to speed adoption of novel technology and innovations that advance the world. This Earth Day, we’re spotlighting a few of our clients who are shaping a smarter, more resilient, sustainable future. From revolutionizing energy generation and storage, to advancing sustainable agriculture and reimagining how communities connect, here’s a look at their real-world impact.

Driving the Energy Transition

These companies are shaping the next chapter of the energy transition. From lowering the cost of solar for families, businesses, and communities to modernizing energy infrastructure and expanding access in under-resourced regions, they are scaling smarter, more equitable solutions designed for lasting impact.

  • Nextracker has shipped over 100 GW of solar trackers worldwide, empowering utility-scale solar projects to enhance energy production and reduce costs. A notable example is its 100% U.S.-made trackers powering the 570 MW Pelican’s Jaw project in California’s Central Valley, bringing clean energy and jobs to the region.
  • ReVision Energy, a leading New England solar installer, partnered with Unitil to bring New Hampshire’s largest solar array online in Kingston, delivering reliable, renewable power to 1,200 homes.
  • SolarPanelRecycling.com collects, transports, and processes end-of-life solar panels, fully separating and recovering clean commodities for manufacturing reuse and diverting waste from landfills. Residential solar panels in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, now have a sustainable end-of-life solution thanks to SPR’s pioneering drop-off recycling program, launched in conjunction with SEIA, poised to become a national model.
  • With decades of experience, MGM Transformers engineers energy-efficient transformer solutions that drive grid modernization, from solar farms to critical infrastructure. Recently, they supplied key systems for a renewable energy installation at HMT Technologies, supporting the company’s transition to greener operations.
  • ReNew Energy Partners tackles decarbonization through blending financing, technology, and project delivery to help buildings become cleaner, faster, turning overdue upgrades into high-impact energy savings. In New York, 1,600 affordable housing units now have cleaner, more resilient energy, thanks to ReNew’s $10M+ retrofit at the 1199 Housing Co-Op, which included a combined heat and power (CHP) system, steam upgrades, and black start capability.
  • Twende Solar, a non-profit Kiterocket supports, empowers global communities with a reliable, sustainable source of electricity through the installation of solar energy systems. Soon, 600 residents of Bompaso, Ghana, will gain access to lighting, refrigeration, study space, and micro-enterprise opportunities through a new community center powered by Twende’s solar and storage system.

Sustainable Land & Sea

Progress doesn’t stop at energy. These organizations are transforming how we interact with the land and oceans, making food systems smarter, cleaner, and more sustainable for future generations.

  • Washington State Tree Fruit Association (WSTFA) is helping apple, cherry, and pear farms grow more sustainably through education, research, and advocacy. Amid rising costs and drought, Washington still led the U.S. in apple and cherry production in 2024, thanks in part to WSTFA’s training and advocacy supporting smarter, more resilient orchards.
  • Through its Climate-Smart Agriculture Guides program, CAMFED trains young women to adopt sustainable farming practices and pass them on to their communities. Across sub-Saharan Africa, CAMFED’s Agriculture Guides are helping thousands of smallholder farmers boost crop yields. By the end of 2023, they reached more than 103,000 people with vital information on climate-smart farming techniques.
  • Wild Alaska Sole Association helps broaden awareness for wild-caught, U.S.-sourced seafood through education and outreach, helping retailers and consumers around the world make more informed seafood choices.

Clean Tech for a Smarter Planet

From semiconductors to sensors, these companies are building the technologies that make sustainability scalable. By improving efficiency at every level, whether in data centers, devices, or fields, they’re making our modern world cleaner and more connected.

  • LoRa Alliance champions LoRaWAN, a wireless network technology that connects sensors over long distances using very little energy. In India’s apple farms, LoRaWAN sensors help growers adapt to changing climate conditions through sustainable farming practices, including optimizing water and nutrient usage.
  • From electric vehicles to smart appliances, Renesas chips help technologies run faster and more efficiently, cutting energy use and making sustainability part of everyday electronics. Currently, they are partnering with Sensize on an IoT system that tracks and enables shipping container reuse to cut down on packaging waste and emissions.
  • Empower Semiconductor builds power management chips that help the digital world use less energy, reducing waste and lowering the carbon footprint of everything from data centers to cloud infrastructure and high-performance computing. Their Crescendo platform is helping data centers cut more than 8 MW of wasted energy by reducing power delivery losses over 10%.
  • ACM Research’s wafer-cleaning tools are designed to minimize chemical use and waste in chipmaking, a notoriously resource-intensive process. One standout is the Ultra C Tahoe, a hybrid system that cuts sulfuric acid consumption by up to 75%, lowering both environmental impact and operating costs for high-volume fabs.
