Q&A

Within Kiterocket, what are you known for?

I am known as the Kiterocket night owl, because I usually work at night to have more overlap with Asia.

What’s your proudest career moment or accomplishment to date?

While I feel accomplished every time I finish a successful event, the one I had inadvertently scheduled during a typhoon is most memorable. I was worried none of the editors would show up because of the bad weather and the hour-long train ride to the venue. However, everyone who was invited showed up. I was very thankful and appreciated their support.

What is it you love about your practice area, and why did you choose to focus on this industry expertise?

My favorite aspect of the semiconductor business is the non-stop learning. The opportunity to know and understand how clients’ technology enable the industry and how these technologies will affect our lives keeps my motivated and excited.

How would your colleagues describe you in three words?

Knowledgeable, effective, tenacious.

What inspires you to get up each morning?

Asia, particularly China, is an ever-changing market with no dull moments. The fast pace inspires me to jump out of bed and scan news first thing in the morning every day!
